John Green is the owner and president of Evergreen Grounds Management. He offers his professional lawn care services to both homeowners and businesses in Prairieville and surrounding areas of Baton Rouge since 1992.

Starting off as a casual opportunity to earn additional funds in 1992, John Green turned his initial interest into something more significant and meaningful. With only one thing on his mind and a small amount of savings and borrowed money, he acquired an already existing lawn care company with all commercial equipment necessary to provide high-quality lawn care services to his customers.

The thrill of fresh grass after cutting the yard has not lost its charm for John Green even now, decades later. Even today, after countless hours spent in the company of his crew and in the field, he can never get enough of it.

Over the past few decades, John Green managed to grow his company into the all-encompassing outdoor services company it is now. He personally experienced each kind of service offered by his company and under his close supervision, Evergreen Grounds Management grew from reliable grass mowing and lawn maintenance services to specialized flower bed maintenance and mulching. During the process of development and expansion, he cleverly expanded the range of services offered by the company, adding irrigation system design and zoning, installation of French drains and retaining walls for efficient solution of challenging yard problems.

In John Green's opinion, good landscaping requires not only the use of highly-trained employees and the best possible equipment but also following the terms of contract. Personal approach and open lines of communication have always remained the hallmark of John's business.

An Active Member of the Baton Rouge Community

John Green has been actively participating in local life in Prairieville and Baton Rouge ever since he became a businessman. Apart from doing business, he spends his leisure time relaxing outside in Louisiana nature. To date, his objective remains unchanged – to offer locals the possibility to sit back and relax while letting professional outdoor services providers care about their lawn.
